The library is closed for Anzac weekend: Saturday 25th and Monday 27th April.

POPPY KNITTING TABLE

We invite you to knit a poppy for yourself to wear on Anzac Day – or to give away, so take a seat, pick up a pair of knitting needles, select wools from the basket and start knitting.
The wool is there for you to use, plus knitting needles, but please don’t take the wool or needles home. If you don’t finish your poppy, just leave your partly knitted poppy on the table and someone else will finish it.
There are knitting patterns for two types of poppy or you can make your own artistic variations.
You are welcome any time during library opening hours, from now until Anzac Day.
Invite your friends and family to join you.
